CHICANO BATMAN - back on tour and coming to a city near you!

In case you haven't heard, live shows are back and tickets from previously cancelled concerts are being honored by different bands and venues. One of those bands is LA born CHICANO BATMAN. In early 2020, the band brought us their latest offering, 'INVISIBLE PEOPLE', but circumstances meant that many some shows during the year had to be postponed or rescheduled. But the Chicano Bat signal has been lit and the psychedelic soul crusaders are back, now with dates to come to Chicago, New York, Nashville and others! (Full tour schedule below)

Formed just over a decade ago, CHICANO BATMAN's blend of psychedelic soul, funk, indie, and rock built them an immediate following in Los Angeles. That success further grew with performances opening for Alabama Shakes and Jack White. Made up of Eduardo Arenas (bass, vocals), Bardo Martinez (lead vocals, organ, guitar), Gabriel Villa (drums, percussion) and Carlos Arévalo (guitar), Chicano Batman has also played Coachella, Bonnaroo, LouFest, Sasquatch! Music Festival, Forecastle Festival, an NPR: Tiny Desk Concert, and more. The band even brought their signature sound to Johnny Walker's 'Keep Walking America' campaign with a Spanglish rendition of 'This Land Is Your Land'.

The inspiration behind Chicano Batman's music is not only based on their musical influences (everything from Queen and David Bowie to the songs are tios, tias y mom's used to play) but it is also founded in their personal histories as Latinos and growing up in the U.S.; as witnesses to the struggles of their own families and the Latino community around them. Through their songs, CB represents those people and their dreams. They are a socially conscious band preaching peace, love, and unity* with soulful melodies and a garage style psychedelia and tropicalia that have made CB's sound as unique as it is powerful.
