PITCHFORK MUSIC FESTIVAL is one of the most anticipated events in the Midwest, featuring talent unlike most other festivals in the region. Frequently showcasing an interesting array of talent in every genre from Alternative Rock to Experimental Jazz, from Hip Hop to Hardcore Punk, Pitchfork is literally the festival that has something for everyone’s tastes and liking. Held every year in Chicago since 2006, the festival is delivered to us at the hands of Pitchfork Media, an online magazine covering new music and artists and more. But, now with the departure of this year’s three day escape into musical cornucopia, we are left with fond memories, streaming playlists and, luckily, lots of photos.
Take a gander at these captures from this 2022’s Pitchfork Music Festival in Chicago, relive some moments or discover what you missed if you weren’t able to make it to Union Park this year. Some of the incredible headliners including: THE NATIONAL, JAPANESE BREAKFAST, MITSKI, THE ROOTS, SPIRITUALIZED, TORO Y MOI, EARL SWEATSHIRT, PARQUET COURTS, LUCY DACUS, and fantastic supporting acts every day, almost all day long.
