Tribute to RITA GUERRERO (Santa Sabina) by MALDITA VECINDAD, RUBEN ALBARRAN, + ALFONSO ANDRE (Video)

Maldita Vecindad collaborated with Ruben Albarran (Cafe Tacvba), Alfonso Andre (Caifanes), and members of Santa Sabina to bring us RITA BONITA, a tribute to Rita Guerrero (vocalist of Santa Sabina).




Born in Guadalajara, Mexico Rita Guerrero passed away in 2011 at the early age of 46, as a result of breast cancer. In addition to being the vocalist of Santa Sabina, she also formed part of Ensamble Galileo and hosted several television programs and was supporter of social movements, like the Ejercito Zapatista de Liberation Nacional (EZLN). Rita also acted in films and plays until the year before her passing.
